Sometimes I (her) have cried after climax, but only with my boyfriend. It's because of the overwhelming feeling of love towards him and how fantastically we have just connected through making love at that time.

Release, some sort of 'cleansing' the soul as much as a body?
Usually happened when I was tensed in everyday life and its more of a happy tears situation. 'Thank you for making that go away' gratitude tear.. No feeling is strange. Some are just not understood. |

The phenomenon is called, post-coital dysphoria and is actually fairly common.
There is however a somewhat more alarming one termed, peri-orgasmic phenomena wherein symptoms are far more extreme and vary from uncontrollable laughing (that must be mightily offputting for a partner!) to loss of consciousness(!) to full on hallucinations(!!!)

My gf does its down to oxytocin which are part of emotional system...normally comes from overwhelming feelings of love but as it's an emotional system it can also be heartache...my gfs probably more thru..OMG I forgot eastenders was on   |
