It is actually minestrone, proper homemade stuff is best but tinned will do. The fresh cartons are too acidic

I'm not a fan of soup

But if it's my only option then I like it as a dip for buttered toast.

Something like chunky veg soup with chilli or Marks and Spencer do a butternut squash one that's alright.
