It's so quiet around here!
Let's guess 
I think people have gone to live on the newly discovered planet of Swingurbia. It sounds great but they didn't realise the atmosphere change would cause their genitals to swell and the place has a constant smell of sex.

The most likely reason is they may be chatting elsewhere. On a kik or whatsapp group for example? Can see the benefits; no whazzocks would be invited to join, cutting down on "those" posters and you wouldn't have to think very carefully before every comment you made in case your opinion was considered worthy of a ban?
Harmless stuff on here such as the Fabathon, extolling the virtues of cake and "What are you having for tea?" type threads are pretty safe ground and these threads will doubtless remain, in fact probably multiply. But logically if such a thing happened then I'd expect threads containing debates, laugh out loud humour or even cynical observations on everyday life to start to become less and less frequent.
Though it will at least make a mod's job much easier too I imagine, even if the forums became much duller.

Actually rubi, since you pointed it out I’ve just had a bit of a rummage around and it appears that there’s been a fair few unlos regular posters in the last month or two.
I’d noticed that the lounge had become rather dull, humourless and even more inane of late but I’m actually starting to think it’s officially dead.
Perhaps it’s finally ejector seat time. |

But this is normal, peaks and troughs have always been the case, the regulars change quite often (apart from the few old school posters!) I guess we just wait and see what it's like when things settle and the newer people get more known. |
