Never pay by card. Instead take 10 pounds out at a time when you need money and only use the cash points that charge 95 pence per transaction. For example, when you withdraw 100 pounds by withdrawing 10 pounds 10 times, you will be down 9 pounds 50 before you've even spent a penny  |

I think I got charged 1.95 to get a tenner out. I tried not to register it as I really needed cash. But when I got to where I was going I didn't need the cash after all.  |
