went to a cricket match with my cousin many many years ago (I was about 9!) he said his mum had made some sandwiches, offered me one and it was lovely bread baked by my grandad but it was covered in butter so thick it came up to your knees, bananas and sugar! I was as sick as a dog and went without eating for the rest of the day cos we didn't have any money. I still feel deprived and can honestly say I've never tried a banana sandwich since lol |
