I've seen it posted a few times, "people round here have no sense of humour", usually by someone who has been lambasted on the forums or gets themselves blocked by a number of people.

Would that not make you think it was your sense of humour that was wrong not theirs? Majority rules right?

So come on, tell me about yours, do you have a good sense of humour? Are you quick witted? Sarcastic? A bit dry?

How is your humour generally accepted? Do people laugh with you, at you or become offended?

My ability to read other’s humour depends on my mood.

If i’m having a low day i read everything in a sarcastic way and can easily get narky.

Othertimes if i’m upbeat and joyful then i read everyone else as gently teasing.

I’d say i’m quite dry and a bit sarcastic. I’m very tongue in cheek and teasing in my humour but it gets misconstrued a lot on here because you can’t see the twinkle in my eye.

I had a sense of humour triple bypass a number of years ago. It means I laugh before I’ve said anything funny. My humour particularly when sarcastic usually earns a block, probably because I’m the only one who finds it funny. There are a few strange people that have been known to laugh at something I’ve said or written.

Usually the cries of "get a sense of humour" or "lighten up, it's just a joke", come from those skirting the bounds of taste or are borderline abusive dressed up as banter.

Humour isn't universal though. I think it's a case of knowing your audience and medium, a bit of wordplay works well on forums, if physical comedy is your forte, stick to cams...

Personally I think I'm fucking hilarious.

My sense of humour changes a lot depending on my mood. I like playfully teasing people and others doing it back. Sometimes I'm quite dry, others just daft. I don't really know what people think about it. I make myself laugh a lot and that's enough.

I always try to add humour to most things in life

. I do have a serious side too.

As mentioned previously the human has become a lot more sensitive and insecure and maybe it seems my humour has crossed the line at times to some but I have never meant any harm to anyone in the real world or the fab world. Just old school humour that gets lost by some.

I think I have a good sense of humour. I'm witty and I do appreciate some sarcasm and a certain dryness to humour. I can easily laugh at myself and have the piss taken put of me on.a constant basis. It's very difficult to genuinely offend me and can normally tell when something is said in.a tongue and cheek manner or is an actual insult.

My sense of humour ranges from childish to dark. I'm also not a very serious person in general and regularly take the piss out of both myself and my loved ones (it's how I show affection). My sense of humour is generally well received apart from with people who love a joke at anyone's expense bar their own. I've not personally had much incident on here but I have found myself thinking that some people seriously need to lighten up.

I smile and laugh a lot, and I can find humour in virtually any situation. I have a very dry, quick witted sense of humour, and i'm fluent in sarcasm...but I also go into fits of giggles about random silly things.

Mine is quite dry with a hint of inappropriateness at times but sometimes I’ll be the one laughing when everyone else sees tumble, I’m fine with that too

I don’t. There are loads of people who are much funnier than I am and have a stronger sense of humour. I don’t laugh nearly enough.

"I've seen it posted a few times, "people round here have no sense of humour", usually by someone who has been lambasted on the forums or gets themselves blocked by a number of people.

Would that not make you think it was your sense of humour that was wrong not theirs? Majority rules right?

So come on, tell me about yours, do you have a good sense of humour? Are you quick witted? Sarcastic? A bit dry?

How is your humour generally accepted? Do people laugh with you, at you or become offended?

Who knows, the thing about humour it affects peoples moods or should I say interacts with their moods, so dependent on what's happened that moment that day that's how they react to the humour that's offered, for me it's how it makes me feel and I enjoy it

My humour is dark sadistic borderline,"did you really just say that out loud", deep intake of breath crossed the line possibly....

My humour varies wildly from sophisticated and intelligent to toilet humour and down right childish, just depends on my mood.
