I thought about doing this thread, but then I thought it was to obvious, even for me.
I am mostly indifferent to all of you except F&B and Stingly, the rest of you I have no opinion on all.

I have a small group of male friends in here. We’re supportive of each other and I value their friendship. There are a few others that I enjoy matey banter with - don’t know them but like them. They often make me laugh, even if they aren’t aware of it. As for a wider brotherhood I’m not sure I feel that so much. I’ve always got on better with women than men throughout my life and tend to have closer friendships with them. |

I'm exactly the same regarding the company of women.
Sadly the sheer amount of guys on fab generally precludes the supportive nature of relationships as seen with the ladies. |

I think the sheer numbers make the possibility of establishing friendships less likely. Also blocking men completely most of the time to ward off ill-conceived advances, means I’m less likely to be contacted by or to contact them. I’m pretty sure that I am not alone in that too. My male friendships have all been born of forum interactions and some shared values and interests. There are more that I would like to develop friendships with but haven’t got round to it or found a way of approaching the subject.
I remember thinking that it was strange that some women found it difficult approaching other women, I realise that was just a projection of my own lack of confidence in approaching men. I have suffered far worse rejection from so called male friends in the past, than I ever did from women. |

Yes, you lot take the piss out of each other (standard friend rules in my book)
Some of you clearly can't stand each other and would launch anothers wooden leg on the fire for shits n giggles and to put the other on the back foot.
But what I do adore and what makes my heart swell and gives me a sense of pride (some of you may think that's odd, but quite frankly I don't give a fuck) is when there's someone struggling. Not for meets or any of that, but genuinely having a hard time. The support and outpouring of ideas to help, people to listen and general camaraderie. That's what makes me proud. That's the shizzle that people need to see when they ask.... what makes a man a man?
