For the break that will make it ok
There's always some reason to feel ?not good enough??
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction, oh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
They may be empty and weightless, and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of an Angel, fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here
So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees
In the arms of an Angel, far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
In the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here |

My cousin was carried out of the church to going underground by the Jam, he'd have loved that, and a very dear friend had gone fishing, i don't know who sang it. |

Kate's mom had "Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye" by Vera Lynne
Her dad went to "Distant Drums" Jim Reaves, and both my parents went out to "Lara's Tune" from Dr Zivargo.

My auntie had him singing 'I love you because' at her funeral

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
I always thought of In My Own Time by Family but then it would be quite a giggle to carried by pall bearers trying to keep instep with Sabre Dance by Love Sculpture! |

I'd love spirit in the sky.
I had albatross when my husband died and the poem IF by Kipling, we I had the white rose A Cornish song as he was a Cornishman.
When mom died we had "only you" by the platters |

"Clair de Lune - Claude Debussy"
We had this played at our wedding while we signed the registers, it was played on a piano and not the church organ, and it sounded beautiful....
My funeral song would be Smile

I'd be carried in to Happy Go Lucky Me by George Formby.
Then instead of a hymn I'd slap some culture on them with Lark Ascending by Vaughn Williams, love that tune. R
