I do and I liked him when he was in top gear, it was not good that the program ended in the way it did, but it was a fun program

No. I think he's a bit of a knob. I'd be lying if I said I didn't find him mildly amusing though.

Him, Hammond and Captain slow were the best ever on top gear. Wouldn’t want to sit next to him on a long plane flight think he would be too much in big doses

as a presenter and columnist yes he does his job well ie be controversial to get his message across . as a person wouldn't know as never met him could be a sound guy when not "performing" or could be the same arrogant arse he comes over as when in character

"No. I think he's a bit of a knob. I'd be lying if I said I didn't find him mildly amusing though."

This. He's a bigoted bore, with an inflated opinion of himself but he can be amusing at times. Bit like Nigel farage

I'm prepared to take people as I find them, and having met him a couple of times at charity gigs, he's a pleasant enough man. Took the time to speak to us muggles, regaled us with amusing TG anecdotes. Most importantly, got a round in at the bar.

I loved Top Gear, but off TV, he seemed really arrogant. I happened to meet him, and he's actually a bloody nice guy to talk to. Reminded me to be more mindful of how the media can present people in a certain light, and we can never really truly know anyone.
