Worst films ever
Jump to: Newest in thread
Since we're talking movies currently, what would you say the worst you have ever seen are? The really god-awful ones you would earn people off as a public service. A couple I can think of are:
Tears of the Sun
The Majestic |

Any movie adapted from a video game with the exception of resident evil, they're god awful films but still enjoyable. Most films adapted from books too if you've read the book, I turned enders game off after ten minutes |

There and to the left a bit |
"Grimsby is awful (the film, not the place)."
One of only a handful of films I've turned off halfway through...
...another was Deadpool
Oh and possibly my worst trip to the cinema ever was when we took our daughter to the cinema to see the film version of Where The Wild Things Are - I was ready to commit murder by the time that was over |

The Sharknado movies! Have watched about 20mins of the first, snippets from some of the others, just to see if they could learn from the first. But nope! Still dire. |

Ypu clearly haven't seen "The Boxtrolls" That's 122 minutes of your life that you'll resent losing forever. |

Yeah... I'm not having that, what's wrong with Tears of the Sun!?
I'll throw in Iron Sky. It's terrible (Nazis on the moon) but it knows it's terrible so it's still pretty entertaining, I think there's even a sequel |

Oh,there are several but one that still grinds my gears when it's mentioned is the cynical box ticking demographic appeasing marketing exercise that was "Love, Actually".
"F*ck off, Actually. Now".
To think that Richard Curtis once wrote "Blackadder".
I saw it at the cinema, because my then-girlfriend wanted me to go with her,and I stayed 'til the end for that reason. Only that reason, only for her. And I hated every minute of it. Now Richard, THAT'S love, actually...
I've just realised I'm grinding my teeth as I write this. |

"2012
The Room
Twilight (all of them)
The Golden Compass (absolutely butchered the book)
"
I was gonna suggest twilight, but thought it better left unsaid rather than remind everyone of it all over again.
Golden Compass was also dire. But the new BBC series could be good! |

The Royal Tennebaums
Never thought it could be beaten but may be just maybe the movie I'm about to say equalled it if not beat it...
The Last Jedi.
2 of the worst movies ever made in cinema history.
The most boring however: The Godfather. What boring tripe! |

Yeah I can’t wait for the BBC series, it can’t be any worse than the film so fingers crossed they do a decent job! |

The recent Ridley Scott Alien movies - Prometheus and Covenant. Just both massive letdowns. Worst thing is there's scenes in each that are good which just seems like a mean-spirited tease. |

‘Plan 9 from Outer Space’. A 1959 movie about aliens descending upon the earth, to raise up the dead as zombies to attack the living. Directed by Ed Wood, staring Bela Lugosi. Not only is the acting so bad, the sets are too, makimg it a cult classic! |
