"If they're fitness fanatics then they should have the willpower to not eat custard creams if they don't want to. And they should have the general good manners to not throw out other people's things. Start throwing out their protein powder because you don't want to eat it and see how they like it" Yes good idea!

Start throwing out their protein powder because you don't want to eat it and see how they like it" Yup, don't want that over processed fake food in your house!
"Your opinion please. I bought custard creams because family was coming and I thought it would be nice to offer them biscuits. I went into the kitchen and no biscuits, my nephews aged 27 and 28 had thrown them in the bin. I asked why and they said, we don't want them in the house as we don't want to eat them. They are both fitness fanatics and say I'm inconsiderate for buying them, it caused one Almighty argument, when I told them they are inconsiderate as I cook and clean up their mess. Who is right and who is wrong,me for buying them or them for throwing them away. What would you do or say to them. " Omg Custard Creams as far as I am concerned that's a crime and they should leave and they are 27 and 28 old enough to do their own cooking and cleaning!!!! At 20 my two children had left home and look after themselves. Stop cooking and cleaning for them
| |||
"Wtf They’re clearly in the wrong. " What she said!!!!

Whos house is it xx And it is inconsiderate as you brought them and they are not theirs. They dont have to eat them just they are in the house. " It's my house they live with me.
| |||
"It's my house they live with me. " Didn't realise that but it makes no difference at all, they could just say no thanks, maybe you wanted some, so they deprived you in your own home. If it was me they'd be either out on their ears or on a firm final warning

" It's your house and your rules. Tell them to replace the biscuits and to leave things alone. It is not their place nor is it their right to remove or dispose of anything without your consent. Point out any of their proteins, shakes or any other stuff they may have around and tell them that you may not like such stuff cluttering up your cupboards or wherever they're stored, but you aren't so ignorant or rude as to just chuck the stuff away. Tell them to grow up and if they don't like things as they are they are free to leave at any time.
"That’s brutal. You need to piss in thier water bottles and lace thier smoothies with crushed jammy dodgers " Omfg brilliant! Hahahahahahahaha
| |||
"That's nothing I made a coffee and walnut cake the other week and they went bonkers, you shouldn't make cake as we will only eat it, yet muggins here buys all there yogurt and fruit, I dropped one at the train station this morning as he works in London till Friday, and all the way he was saying I was inconsiderate, so I stopped the car and threw him out in the rain,in his smart suit. Nows that's inconsiderate. " Sounds like they need to learn to repeat other people's things. They need to understand that it's your house and you can do whatever you like in it, including buying food that they clearly can't help but eat; which by the way, is entirely their problem not yours! Give them a clip round the ear
"That’s brutal. You need to piss in thier water bottles and lace thier smoothies with crushed jammy dodgers Omfg brilliant! Hahahahahahahaha " Swap the powders with weightwatchers meal replacements

| |||
| |||
"Throw something of theres in the bin " Throw them in the bin Then they'd be in the bin AND they'd have to resist eating thre custard creams in there!!

Selfish ... as is living in your house as adults and not doing their share of cooking and cleaning! Plus you're giving them lifts? Wtf ... that to me would be a yellow card warning!
"I wish they could afford a place of their own, I get a hundred quid a month off each of them and they still moan, they think it should be free as I'm their Aunt. One asked me what he gets for his hundred quid a month, he soon shut his big mouth when I told him lol. " How long have they been living with you? Withdraw all services and see how they cope

" That should be the weekly charge to be honest with you! You're being taken for a mug and not actually teaching them the value of things and life. They will only become responsible adults when made to be responsible for themselves.

Nows that's inconsiderate. " Excellent good for you,I've done that to my daughter before now it wasn't raining though. When I'm taking the time and trouble to take you to your friend's when you're more than capable of getting on a bus don't sit there giving me gip girl,I pulled into a bus stop and told her to pop out she wasn't impressed and slammed my door. I honked my horn back,thankfully for her it was only a five min walk from there. She is a stroppy teenager though and I'd like to think she's grown out of that now.

You're being too generous, they should be paying much more that. Utilties bills aren't cheap nor is council tax plus the cost of you being their chauffer and food you provide. Time to put your foot down with a firm hand and tell them to contribute more to the running of the household or ship out to bedsit land. That'd shake them up.

"Yesterday also I went out the front to put rubbish out, and that's how I found biscuits, and one cane running out, you shouldn't leave front door open as anyone could come in and pinch our bikes, OMG and in the back of my car was his other bike which he left in it overnight, so nothing said about someone could smash my car window and pinch it." Time to gently push them out of your door methinks and regain some sanity.

"Draw up new rules, put the rent up and get them to sign a contract. If they dont like it, they can go find somewhere else to live, a hit of reality might soon change their minds! " Yes, I'd double their rent, and tell them that they were no longer allowed to use your food, and say that living with you ends permanently in three months.
| |||
"Your opinion please" The pair of cheeky bastards
| |||
"£100 a month and they treat you like that? I'd be increasing their rent and removing privileges such as lifts and meals cooked etc - they want to behave like children, start treating them as such - they'll soon learn. Change the wifi password too and tell them they won't be getting it until they start to show some respect and consideration. Family or not, they're taking advantage plain and simple and you need to stop that - at today's rates they're paying well under the odds (£25/week) for accommodation - even in cheaper areas they'd be looking at triple that for a place - if they don't like it they know where the door is." This ^^^
| |||
"Why do they not live at home with their parents??" Don't tell me, parents have thrown them out....

"That’s brutal. "Why do they not live at home with their parents?? Don't tell me, parents have thrown them out...." I don't think that's the reason.
"Why do they not live at home with their parents?? Don't tell me, parents have thrown them out...." With that attitude I don't doubt it...If they want to give orders they should get their own place,but in other people's houses they must respect the way the owner lives and how stuff are done...I would have thrown them out already

" Problem is ... we don't know so can't judge there. There may have been a family tragedy etc." Even if that is the case, it does nor excuse their appalling behavior. Selfish inconsiderate pair.

"Their parents split up when they were small, one stayed with me and the other with their mother, the eldest had always been a problem, he was a drug addict, unemployed and sectioned at one time, but I stood by him, now he's off drugs, working hard and fit as a fiddle, but has no manners. The other is with me as his mother moved and had no room for him. Yes it's been a very sad few months, my mum passed away, their grandmother, and my house caught fire because a phone charger blew up. We only moved back into house a few weeks ago. But I lost far more than them, yet I've had to remain strong, even though I've felt like jumping in the river. Seeing your home, and all your memories of forty years, burn is devastating. They are lucky they have still got a home. But they have no respect for anything, they are cycling round the world soon,and I think when they return they can find their own way in life. " Ouch can't begin to imagine that and sending hugs x But your unwavering kindness and dedication deserves far more than how you are being treated ... sorry

" Erm it’s your house , your rules They sound like right charmers tbh ...

" I'd be giving the little shits a month's notice to find somewhere else to live. Their behaviour is bordering on abuse. The more I'm reading this the more pissed off I'm getting on your behalf OP. I hope you get things sorted out sooner rather than later. Xxx

None of us know the back story,but maybe a word with their parents? They are ungrateful, obnoxious bullies. I wouldn't be changing their protein powders for biscuits I'd be filling them with laxatives. Personally of it were my nephews, they'd be shown the door with no notice whatsoever. Expensive bikes and kit? Don't care. Your problem. Get out before the police are called. They are eroding your self-esteem and self worth, and doing you harm. Please get some professional advice,CAB would be a good starting point. Hopefully all the comments on here give you the knowledge that you have support and are not in the wrong. They are. Ungratedul little shits taking advantage of your gentle nature. Don't let them. Much love xx

Now if it had been bourbons I would have dragged them into the street and made them live outside for ever more.

"I wish they could afford a place of their own, I get a hundred quid a month off each of them and they still moan, they think it should be free as I'm their Aunt. One asked me what he gets for his hundred quid a month, he soon shut his big mouth when I told him lol. " Pam pack their bags when they are out place bags on the drive and change the locks. These two twats are just abusing your good nature.
