I think its probably been done to death but how far do you consider local?

I have on my profile only guys in my area, yet get guys messaging from 60 plus miles away saying they thought they would take a chance anyway.

So how far is 'local' to you?

Dunno, within 40 minutes?

What you should probably remember is that there is a zillion guys here to significantly less women, so chances are they'd happily travel a bit further for someone they're interested in.

I live in a fairly small town surrounded by fairly small neighbouring towns.

I may have inadvertently used a different postcode to throw guys that are too local off my scent when they check who's near

60 miles isnt much, having said that most of the people I've met have been within about 30 miles.

Up on them there hills

We are forty to fifty minutes from Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Sheffield and Manchester. That fits our criteria, unless it’s a club.

10 miles is my absolute max, 5 miles is my normal limit. I do drive but I live in a city, 5 miles is plenty far enough.

An hour drive is what I'd consider local, primarily because it's a fairly shallow pool round here!

I got used to driving long distances to do anything. A two hour ride was normal to get to anything, the beach, theme park, family, visiting friends, it all seemed normal. Here it seems people balk at the idea of more than a half hour drive to do anything.

Yeah when I was younger I'd drive a six hour round trip for a social gathering no problems. It depends though, if I still lived in and around London then I wouldn't need to look much further. Here in Devon you have to travel a fair distance to get the best of anything.
