It's my birthday.
Kids forgot, despite my reminders, shocking thing is mine is only a few days after one of theirs. Always been that way.. Oh well, they're just kids and I dont love them any less for it. I'm the same with my parents 
Money from my family.. Winner winner chicken dinner. Special shout out to my Aunty for giving me £50!  Feel a drive 'Up North' Is in order to thank her in person.
Thankyou to my friend Jen for sending me a Pirate Birthday meme and it being the first thing I saw when I woke up. Set the mood.

Off to Tewkesbury Medieval Festival, not expecting much as it's free entry. Better than sitting at home doing Jack Shit.

Just got back. What a bargain! £5 parking and that's it. Better than any of these shite commercial county shows you have to pay to enter.
Loads going on.. swords, makes, crossbow, archery.. (no actual Mongol recurve bows, but close enough, Welsh Longbows a plenty), horns, pelts, dried meats, craft, heraldry.
The actual battle reenactment starts at 3.00pm. So plenty of time for any locals to catch it still. I'm not a fan of crowds and we arrived a little early to wait that long.
