I'm actually starving now!!!
I make the meanest lasagne - everything from scratch. With home made garlic bread...

PS: The OH would probably just about manage his speciality..... poached egg on toast!

All pastas and sauces made from scratch. "

My specialty at the moment is my own recipe Moussaka cooked from scratch and the dessert is also a specialty called Crunchie surprise. Anyone who’s ever had either have loved them. My Moussaka has put people off ordering it in Greek restaurants as they’ll just be disappointed. Others have threatened not to come to dinner parties unless Crunchie surprise is the dessert.
Lots of wholesome exercise is strongly recommended before and after (but not immediately to counter the calorific content : ![](/icons/s/2/halo.gif) |

Cheese. Basically.
The starter can be a cheese fondue but made with decent cheese - reblochon, raclette, gruyere, use a decent white, garlic, finely cut shallots. Crudites and freshly made crusty bread. Oooh a decent sourdough.
Main - Steak. With macaroni cheese, chips, truffle oil cauliflower cheese, bit of salad so it doesn't feel like it's *too* much cheese.
Pudding - Cheeseboard or cheesecake. Grapes. Strawberries. A fuck ton of fresh berries. Cherries.
And alcohol. Lots of it.

Oh Meli
Cheese and steak are two of my favourite food groups. This is right down my alley.
If you’d thrown in something chocolatey, I’d probably have proposed. ![](/icons/s/2/cute.gif) |

A couple of options.
Main
Venison steaks in port and thyme reduction, served on a bed of kale alongside dutchess potatoes.
Or
Lamb, with garlic, juniper berry and rosemary marinade.
Dessert
Rhubarb and apple crumble
Or Cranachin |

If P (m) was cooking it would probably be a lobster salad, you can't beat a nice fresh lobby straight out the sea...with a few home grown potatoes tossed in olive oil, salt & pepper & a fresh mixed leaf tossed salad
But if I (f) was in the kitchen it would have to be her speciality...chicken, leek & mustard pie! Doesn't matter how hot it is, it is to die for x |

Cornwall |
Somerset pork (pork steaks cooked in cider with mushrooms & the sauce finished with some cream), seasonal veg & probably creamy mashed / smashed potatoes. Probably a home made fruit salad & clotted cream to follow. |
