I'm sitting looking at my desk thinking how much easier life would be if I was a piece of furniture.
What kind of furniture do you think I should be? What would you do with me? |

#triggered Ermmm... why would you even say that. Think of how hard a desk has it.
A desk has to take soo much abuse. Think of all the times its had to stay perfectly still for us ungrateful humans. When you stub your toe and curse at it... when we decide to spill hot coffee because were "clumbsy". when we bang it in frustration with a fist because we cant get our own way.
Not to mention all the using it for unintended purposes. I mean imagine the indignity of being used like a lowly bed when your a desk. How dare you fuck on the desk.  |

Mate... dont get me started on the abuse beds take. I mean unless its been built to code (ie weight distribution and bracing) no off the shelf bed is made to be used in the way we use them. Jesus our furniture works 10xs as hard as any of us.
The worst part is that we just throw it away when we are done with it.
Have any of you ever seen the Brave little toaster?

Surely life must be tough for the poor tree turned into a chair, being murdered, chop and nail driven into the poor tree by human. Essentially life is tough for every living organism. Did I hear someone say you must be fun at parties.  |
