I always wanted to be a soldier, however that was never going to happen as you are treated very differently and there is no way I would have been allowed to serve on the front line. If I was going to do it, I would have wanted to do it properly.

My friend jokingly signed up me and C as a couple about 6 months before we even considered it (we were all super d*unk and were discussing dogging).
