Roadtrip/Camping/Hiking holiday in Canada in 2015. 3 weeks long, 2000 miles on the clock, and countless on foot!
Visited Vancouver, clear water, Jasper, Banff and stayed in Kamloops overnight |

Lapland Christmas 2015 with my 3 kids.... two reasons it was the best... 1. My first holiday as a single parent, and I rocked it 2. The most magical place I’ve ever been no one could come home not believing in the magic of Santa and we saw the northern lights not once but twice. |

Pisa, Florence and Siena.
It's my best holiday ever because I'd had an awful trip to Prague in the March, with ex boyfriend. I didn't want to be left with bad memories, so I booked a flight to Italy a few months later. It was my first ever solo holiday...aged 44...it was amazing...and I now have wanderlust!! |

Bali, I fell in love with Asia after visiting here. I'm not well travelled (yet) but want to visit pretty much everywhere near there.
Its another world, a totally different way of life x
I also love Bournemouth, the beach first thing in the morning when the locals are surfing/swimming... so peaceful and tranquil |

Shortly after one of our friends died back in 2011, 3 of us went to Majorca for 4 days
It was out of season, it was chilly and windy, the apartment was a bit on the grotty side and we didn't have a whole lot of money to spend, but we had an absolute fucking ball
I have so many hilarious memories from that holiday that will stay with me forever |

Weston-Super-Mare.

Weston is a Brum bank holiday day trip thing, it's the nearest coast from Brum...the quickest to get to anyway. All you hear is West Mids accents, the beach is pretty much just mud and when the tide goes out you need a satnav to find the sea.

About 20 yrs ago now..was a luxury coach tour of the American West.. started in Los Angeles then on to las Vegas and San Francisco and everywhere in between..
I experienced a balloon ride at dawn over the Sonoran desert, complete with champagne breakfast, i flew over the grand canyon, and had loads of other 'once in a lifetime' experiences and made lots of friends.. many of whom I'm still in touch with |

Haha...that's probably my colleagues, as our office is only a 10 min walk from the beach. They keep their surf and paddle boards at work for whenever the mood, or surf, strikes |

The first time I went to Positano and met that side of my family. I remember being overwhelmed with the heat, the smells, the beauty of the grounds and the house and the sparkling blue sea. It felt like I was finally home and was one of the best week's of my life.

That's the thing , you'll never catch a turtle, they look slow and graceful, but a simple flick of their flippers and they power off in to the deep blue |

I didn't think I'd like New York as much as I did. I remember the thrill of seeing the steam come up of those gratings over the subways, and all the turtles in Central Park. |

Same here, couldn't stand Times Square but I loved down and dirty, grimy side of NY.
I had a fantastic afternoon in a real run down part of East Village. Stumbled into a spit 'n sawdust bar just to get out of the heat with my daughter and got hammered chewing the cud with a few locals, it was the day after her 21st. Fuck knows how we got back to upper West. |

Mine is quite dull compared to some of these.
Cornwall with a 2 week old baby. Sounds horrendous but it was so relaxed and exactly what I needed. We were beach bums for a fortnight. Only saw our apartment at bedtime. I lived on morning croissants and cream teas. I block out the part where I smelled like upchucked SMA the whole time. The most pleasant memory I have is wandering Mousehole with her, staring at her little face and thinking blimey I actually have responsibility now. She turned 13 on Saturday but that holiday feels like yesterday. |

Probably in the mid 90s to Jamaica. Stayed at a very romantic, idyllic resort in Ocho Rios called Enchanted Gardens. It was halfway up a small mountain, with a jungle feel and gorgeous plants and flowers. Within the complex were big natural waterfalls, 5 fabulous restaurants, a secluded private beach and each pool had a pool bar that you could swim up to and get cocktails. It was the first time we’d ever stayed in an air conditioned room. The nightly entertainment was superb and the service was wonderful. We spent so little because it was all inclusive that we could afford a helicopter trip around the island and a visit to Golden Eye. Never to be forgotten |

I've been very lucky and have travelled a lot and have stayed for long periods of time in places.
I still love India the most.
I think it's a mixture of the people I met and that it's such a different way of life from here.
I spent 6 to 9 months a year there from 1999 - 2011.
Mostly in Goa but travelled the whole country on trains, planes, motorbikes, scooters, boats, rickshaws, questionable taxis, private drivers in broken ambassador cars etc ..
I feel blessed to have been there before having a phone / internet connection.
My main priority was the experiences not to take pictures of it. |

Back in my 20’s we had a family cruise on the Norwegian Ffjords (mum, step-dad, me, nan and grampy) as my Grampy wanted to see Norway again (he’d been there in the War).
It was breathtakingly beautiful, and it was 2 weeks of adventure, drinking and the most amazing club sandwiches i’ve ever had in my life.
Perfect.

Best holiday would have to be either the first time I took my kids to Disney in Florida....one of my favorite places where every generation can have a great time together!.....or when I took them to Australia for the first time!
Really want to go to the Maldives one day and also Peru and Chile!!...
