"Does anyone check their winks or just goes straight to messages just wondering is it better to message someone or wink them x" I don't mind winks but don't always see them straight away a message is better

I would suggest you should do both unless the person your messaging states they don't like/look at winks in their profile |

I will never understand why people get so precious over winks.
I see them as an ice breaker. You send one, if the person likes the look of your profile they wink back, you follow with a message. Easy!
It’s not being lazy and for some who send endless messages without getting a reply, it’s the less painful option.
If someone specifies they ignore winks then respect that. If not, wink away. It’s a bit of fun!

I love winks, actually prefer them to messages and say this on my profile. If they're geographically feasible and what I like then I'll check out their profile and send a wink back if I'd like to chat! So much quicker and easier than unsolicited messaging |

"I like winks! It mean that someone has taken the time top open my profile.
I did get a wink by an unverified couple the other day which I'm not sure how to interpret."
...whereas if we receive a wink we know they definitely haven't read our profile. |

If I get a wink it's an indicator that someone would like me to message them so I do. Saves me writing lots of messages to people that don't want them. So if I don't get winked (or messaged) I never know, I don't respond the same to fabs. Because fabs are just fabs |

I love a wink, I check their profiles out. If I like them I wink back if I don’t I just delete. If i see someone I like on the forums I will sometime send a wink, 9 times out of 10 it gets ignored or leads no where. Mr J calls me a serial winker! But then again other times I totally forget to check the winks! |

We tend to look at winks. Sometimes we even wink back if we like what we see.
