I think I look much better since I shaved it all off. Embrace the bald, hair transplants are very expensive and women go for much more than a guy’s hair anyway. There are a few that dislike baldies but so what. |

I know it's easy for me to say, but I think guys should embrace their hair loss. Either shaved or say an 1/8" can look good. Comb overs look bloody awful. Yul Brynner was flipping gorgeous bald. |

Someone suggested a I looked like Yul Brynner. I laughed and asked if they had exhumed his body as he died in 1985 and had maybe seen his corpse |

My first bald patch appeared at 17 and first grey hair at 14, but I spent far too many years holding onto the vestiges of what hair I had. I look better now than I did in my late 20s and 30s since I got shot of it all. |

"I'm just glad to still have all my hair at my age, my dads was sounding the retreat when he was the same age "
Male pattern baldness tends to come from your Mum’s side of the family. If your mum had a brother or your maternal grandad etc would be better indicators |

My mum has 3 brothers, one of them still has his hair at 60 something, the others just have high foreheads, my grandad is 89 and again, high forehead but not bald. |

I said tends - didn’t say exclusively- I think predominant genetic make-up influences it too |

"Corr..!
Such positive feed back guys..
Hair transplant brochure....in the bin you go..!
"
My advice, grade your hair to something comfortable and practice a winning smile, as much as I would love a full head of hair, I'm okay with being a baldy |

I learned today that for the first 2-300,000 years of our known existence as humans, give or take a couple of thousand years, humans never experienced baldness because the life expectancy was about 25-30 years, so our limbic system on seeing baldness would have gone into overdrive and caused an amygdala hijack. . No wonder we have such a strong aversion to baldness as humans. I must be rewired because I like being completely bald these days, but it took me a long time to get there. Maybe I should start experimenting with wigs so I stop scaring the fuck out of people though |

I do zero guard over my balding head, and would mich prefer this to try and rock a comb over, haor transplant etc. Hasn't bothered me losing hair, think as some have said before, self confidence goes a long way. |
