If you have lied about your name on here, do you tell the people you are meeting what it actually is?
Would it not be weird having sex with someone who’s moaning someone else’s name?
I find it a turn on when a man’s moaning my name |

Not many people know my name on here. But if I was getting intimate with someone and i didn’t feel I could trust them with my real name then it wouldn’t be happening anyway. |

Anyone I've met or plan to meet knows my real name. I hate when people ask me it early in a conversation though. It's quite unusual so I'd rather give it out when I'm totally sure about someone |

I met someone who lied both about his age and name...then confessed and ‘told the truth’. Disappeared for a while then popped up again with a new name and age...and has done it twice since |

I used the name Sally when I first started playing. I found it really annoying being called Sally on meets though, so now I use my real name Hev short for Heather.
Charlie isn't really Charlie's real name...his real name is Harry short for Harold!!....sorry Charlie xxxx |

I was so convinced a guy I met had given me a fake name that when we met I casually asked to see his driving license, turns out he was really called John and it wasn’t just a generic name he had pulled out the hat. We had a laugh about it once I explained! |

I met a guy in our local pub one night and for months I called him Dave.
I found out he was lying and was actually married when he came to the shop I was working in with his wife and paid with his card |

On Sunday me and C took the dogs into town for a massive walk. Bumped into a couple with two chihuahuas. I had been chatting to the husband on and off for a while. Swore he was single |

If anyone was to ask me i’d give them my real name, if I was likely to meet someone then I would tell them but to be honest, if someone moaned my name during sex i’d probably laugh as when anyone calls me by my name it sounds weird.

Yes. Sometimes I'm talking to someone and I imagine they'll be a Frederick or Lawrence and then they are a Bob and I have to adjust my mental image. |

I tell people my ridiculous real name after establishing a decent enough rapport. Certainly before meeting, I’ll offer my real name.
Is it lying though to have a different name on a site like this? I don’t expect people to share real names on their profiles. Accept it as a given that it’s a pseudonym. |

If I trust someone enough to meet them, then I trust them enough to know my name.
Amusingly. In over 2yrs, I've only said one of my best friends real name once, and then was like "WTF did I just say?" |

It's rare I give my real name, I use Seren which is part of my username. I prefer to stick to usernames for others because they're more unique I'm more likely to remember them. |

We tell people our real names if we're going to meet them. We have met several people who used aliases and forgot half way through the conversation and one guy who answered his phone during a social (rather rudely) and gave his real name without thinking, I did smile inwardly because it was far more ordinary than his alias. |

"I get embarrased about my real name.
Englebert Knickerleg-Tremblebum can put people off.
Are you from the venerable Devon Knickerleg-Tremblebums? Or the Norfolk branch?"
Neither, we've been in the Northwest since the Norman conquest. We scattered near and far, I think there is even a small community of Tremblebums on the Isle of Man. |

My name isn't real. I chose it stereotype myself as much as I could when I initially created the profile over 5 years ago to see who would judge me stereotypically and who would actually read my profile and realise there's more to someone than the colour of their skin or ethnic diversity.
That being said I do give my real name before sex of cos but only after meeting someone and realising that they are real and we click.
If we do not click I don't see the point of breaking a fairly transparent illusion lol |

I don't see the need for people in general to know my real name . Some do but most refer to me via my username which is fine.
I'd rather username than end up with unwanted fb requests etc |

My name is unique and doesn't exist anywhere else. So I shorten it to K but I spell it Kae cause why not. Most of my friends call me K anyway so I'm not lieing. Just neglecting to tell people my actual name. |

We decided to use John and Jane, hence Mr J & Mrs J. But on our first meet Paul introduced himself as Paul so we gave up and just use our real names! We’ve kept Mr & Mrs J though as I quite like that! |

Also my name is very unique and my profession very exclusive. I thus cannot allow my personal life here mixing with my private life unless I found someone here to share that with. |

I shorten my name to Cal for two reasons. 1st is because I generally have to explain my name to people, and 2nd because I've never met anyone else with my Christian name... so it would be obvious to anyone who knew me.
