It was an iconic moment in musical history which, at the time, sparked unfair and unnecessary media criticism.

Morrissey's set was certainly the highlight of that particular day of live music.

Yes we do! I was obsessed with them for 30 years but I can't bring myself to see them without Richie

I love Green Day, lucky enough to have seen them several times.

Last gig I went to was to see Eric Clapton last month. Going to my first Glastonbury later this month

"Madness, Finsbury Park, early 90s and got knocked unc*nscious in the first song, listened to the rest from the first aid tent haha

I was there too

Morrissey was Godlike

Draped in a Union Jack

It was an iconic moment in musical history which, at the time, sparked unfair and unnecessary media criticism.

Morrissey's set was certainly the highlight of that particular day of live music."

I'd disagree - Morrissey was a bad choice for that crowd and not at all well received and his performance reflected that - Ian Dury & The Blockheads were blinding and the atmosphere when Madness hit the stage really was something you could cut with a knife and the almost two hours that followed it rates amongst their best ever live performances.

Coincidentally my last gig was Madness at the O2 last December and my next is them again next Saturday when they're playing with a full orchestra which should be interesting.

The Svetlanas in Brighton. Not a great gig. I love the band but the soundguy didn't do a particularly great job and the place was almost empty. The promoter needed a bloody kicking for that.

"As above.

Who and when.

Off to watch The Beautiful South in Stockport, fingers crossed the rain keeps away

Enjoy! I saw Jacqui and Paul at CarFest two years ago and they were really good."

My last proper gig was Paul Heaton and Jaqui Abbot on Cannock Chase last summer, with Billy Bragg supporting. Brilliant, then a spot of dogging after!
