Let's kick this off then.
Avatar is just "dances with wolves" with aliens and blows my mind why it's so popular.
Dwanye Johnson plays the rock in every film and is terrible to watch.

Hmm let's add some true controversy here. More recently in movies :
1. Hollywood is recently implying that women are only 'good' if they start to behave like violent, heavy drinking, wh*ring men and are better than men at war, violence and generally being arse holes and kicking the crap out of everybody.
The only other stereotype for women they keep showing is a narcissistic, neurotic princess.
Where are the strong female characters who are WOMEN and not men with t*ts?
2. All couples have to be mixed race/culture/social status of some kind. They never show couples to be from a similar background, which of course, in reality is what happens. People GENERALLY tend to date people from within their groups. While obviously there are loads of exceptions (myself included), I don't think that Hollywood really reflects this at all. Watching TV or cinema you will think that a working class man will only date a posh woman and never a working class woman, or that black men only date white women and never black women, or white men only date Chinese girls, or that Hindu women only date Muslim men etc etc.
3. Christians are always depicted as stupid, backwards, racist, judgemental, hypocrites or downright evil and Christian symbols like the cross or churches are either depicted as related to something evil or degraded in some way. Meanwhile all other religions and atheism are presented as enlightened, good, clever and the right way to think.
How's that for food for thought? And remember to be civil.  |

I quite like some of his films like Risky Business and War of the Worlds but i like how much time he has for his fans. He even turns up early at his premiers to speak to them and have plenty of selfies!
I think the Blair Witch project is one of the best horror films I have seen.

Mother was a great film.

Its the same with Bond 'oh yeah he has been fighting baddies, one of whom lived in a volcano, since the 1960s and Fleming changed the books to make him have a Scottish heritage after Connery was in it and he had an invisible car but if you cast a black actior it ruins it for everyone.
