"Donald Trump, master of deceit and diverting attention.
The would presumably you anti-role model then? Not really on the thread topic."
It depends on what you seek, you can take the positive aspects from a negative person. |

Teachers. Sportsmen.
Not comic book characters. Many seem to be avenging the death of their family and very angry at the world. |

I would say his ability to divert attention and being deceitful is quite useful. The man himself is a utter prick but to say he's stupid or doesn't know what he's doing is not giving him enough credit. |

Charles Tillman(played in NFL), Liam Gallagher, James Bond, John Daly, Steven Fry to name a few off the top of my head/looking round me.
There was something about all of them that taught me something, but most of them collectively taught me that it's ok to have flaws and make mistakes, nobody's perfect. |

Superman - he stands for all that is good and world peace and harmony. He’s so goddam good in fact that even mid way through a life or death battle with the nefarious Nuclear Man, Supes’ took time out to readjust the American flag on the moon before taking a moments reflctful silence in honour of humankind’s amazing achievement in landing a man in the film studio- erm.....on the lunar surface.... |

I was questioning heroes after the post about them fighting for wrong reasons or avenging a death.
Thor wasn't till Loki and loss of Asgard and its people. Now he definately is.
Spiderman - Uncle Ben, though Uncle Ben also gave him the ethos that Spider-Man lives by. With great power comes great responsibility. Something all politicians should take heed of.
Batman - Parents
Superman - Krypton?
Antman is doing it for his kids, but he's a cyber criminal, for good causes.. so I'd say he's an activist.
Iron man - parents
I'd say Captain America fits the Bill. He is prepared to ditch America when it forgets it's founding policies and he is prepared to fight for all people of the world. Against everything unjust. He lost his future, friends and family, but that's not why he decided to fight nor why he continues.

Good points! In relation, I’ve always found the Fantastic Four quite fascinating as their shared backstory origin of how they gained their special abilities is actually one tinged in sadness.
Ben Grimm especially is more a figure of pity in many ways due to his monstrous appearance.
I wonder if Stan Lee created them in order to celebrate human differences, much in the same way that the children’s animated TV show, The Raggy Dolls did? |

Does he not like Steve Backshawl, the guy who does Deadly60. He's like a cross between Attenborough and Ghrylls |
