we confirmed a meet wiv a couple to take place at ours this evening only last nite our two young children had developed colds ie coughing being sik and crying for most of the nite so out of respect to our kids and to the couple whome we were meeting we canceled at 8 am this morning via a text mesage we was wiling to ring but unsure if they were at work etc we was blown away to the response we got OH YERH YEH THOUGHT U WOULD URE FAKE ? we left it at that 10 mins ago we lokked on here as we do to recieve mesage from said couple see u stil looking for meet ? WE HAD SIMPLY FORGOT TO REMOVE MEET LISTING NOW THERE BEING RUDE god some people  |

well you had forgotten which is easy to do, but maybe they just thought you were making excuses to not meet them |

In fairness to them, it must have looked odd that you cancelled and still had the meet today on. So you can see their point. Fair enough you had a good reason obviously and not sure I've had mailed you about it. But you can see what they must have thought at first. |

To be honest, if someone cancelled on us and we found a meet today advert up, we'd be pretty pissed off.......
But only cus all the whinging on the forums about those meets cancelling and then finding a meet today up, rubs off.......
If you've cancelled for a very good reason then you have nothing to worry about and if rudeness rears it's ugly head, you had a lucky escape, cus just think what would have happened if you'd turned up and hadn't wanted to play!!  |
