People often open doors to let me through (usually when I'm being escorted from the premises ). I don't use public transport so I can't comment.
I think politeness should apply equally though |

Deffinitely not national service. Last thing we need is to teach folks how to fight as an organised unit and fire guns hahaha.
Remember Demolition Man - Wesley Snipe's character, ex con programmed to be a more efficient killer and Sylvester Stallone's, police officer, taught to crochet.
Instead of bringing back national service...train them to do stuff that will help wider society?
National Community Service - Theres plenty of places that need cleanig up, re building etc |

there cannot have been any mistake about some ie:Myra Hindley.Ian Brady. Peter Sutcliffe. With dna advancements even less mistakes.
Big question though......Myra hindley didn’t commit murder so would she be hanged? Sutccliffe insane? Would he be hanged....Timothy Evans confessed and was not guilty...he was hanged, no dna needed for a confession. " ...dont care as 99.99999% get what they deserve |

I cant believe your defending the most evil woman in history.Hindley had Pauline reed in a van,Brady on a motorbike behind, after hed said he wanted to kill a child(stated by both)and drove her to the moors.
Its on a gruesome tape a girl asking hindley if she could go home to mum. Totally ignored by Hindley who told her to shut up.I would have hung her myself without pity ,she didn't show the children any.Peter Sutcliffe was not insane when I spoke with him,and i never mentioned the third one..I implore you please stop defending these monsters.. |

Letting emotion get in the way of the law and punishment I think. I’m not defending her at all. But the LAW would be saying she might not be hanged for her part. Sutcliffe hearing Jesus telling him things is not insane?
And the point about Evans is he confessed so no dna needed. He was still not guilty.
That’s not defending anyone except Evans who was set up by Christie and the police. |

Really though?
Birmingham 6? Guildford 4?
Timothy Evans? The last women to be hanged Ruth Ellis was self defence really. Many many miscarriage of justice that would have lead or did lead to hanging.... |

I normally get blank stares when I mention Cydrax - the best fizzy drink ever!
Did you know it's now only manufactured in Trinidad where it has acquired a reputation for being quite a classy drink? You might be interested to know however that Cidona, which you can get in the Irish section in supermarkets, is a very passable substitute |

You show me the statute she would have. It’s not as simplistic as you make out.....the Evans case would not have relied on dna even now. Again, not simple. No, Evans would not have been helped. You need to read up on that.
It’s hanged not hung. But still not simple. And then we need to look at whether the families would want them hanged if they had chance of finding burial sites? Brady loved that control though and was truly horrific. Hindleys part, to me, was just as bad, make no mistake on my feeling she needed punishment. Solitary confined for ever would be my choice. But once again, I’m not arguing they are innocent, but stating that it’s not the simplistic view of “hang em high” |

Wonder why we don’t have it then? Capital punishment that is. We don’t disagree that they some deserve not to live. What we are disagreeing on is what the law would do. I still say suttcliffe was seen as insane. So would not have hanged. Bentley was very very dubious. I disagree those 140 plus murderers should have been released from maze....they are walking the streets right now in the uk. Killed children in the likes of Warrington. |
