As long as everyone involved is a legally consenting adult what does it matter?
I know plenty of people that like to be beaten and those that don't.
If they are having fun and not forcing those not interested to participate then what does it matter?
I know plenty of people that would also be disgusted by the idea of swinging yet here we are.
You do you and let them do them
