Neither. A journalist who is willing to try to get to the bottom of something without letting his ego get in the way.

He’s also willing to look at his biases and acknowledge them. His books are well written and informative.

I like him. He went through a very tough time when his wife died. I know that has no bearing on his journalistic integrity though.

When I first started seeing him on my the BBC News he seemed refreshingly new. But now I do feel his ego has taken over, thinks he is a young David Frost maybe.

I cant stand him.... Just the way he drones on makes me laugh... He talks and talks in a slow boring talk then his voice RAISES! And SPEEDS UP! When he gets excited then goes back to his slow mono tone voice then he starts SHOUTING! Again.

Couldnt tell you if his journalistic skills are any good due to the fact as soon as he appears on the TV I have to switch off coz his voice and the way he talks makes me want to pour concrete into my ears!

I think it has great bearing on his integrity as a person which permeates through other aspects of his life. He is one journalist I will watch and who will do his job.

For those that don't like his voice - listen to what he says and asks instead.

I agree. I think its a credit to him that he maintained his integrity despite his personal grief.

I now turn him off whenever he comes on news at ten, I simply can't watch him,as for his wife passing away, very sad

I like Laura Kuenssberg (sp). I also love her selection of coats which again have no bearing on her journalistic integrity.

Laura Kuenssberg and the word integrity have no place in the same sentence. The very essence of the BBCs pro establishment bias.

Bugger - I thought this was a thread relating to Robert (more wooden than an oak dining table) Pattinson for a second
