I can’t answer the single profiles as this is the only profile we have.
However, we often confer. We’re not ones for reams of messages. So within three or four messages we're looking to arrange a social if we are both happy. As that’s hard facts, like where, when and how we need to check in with each other. On the occasions we have engaged in chit chat, then messages are usually just answered by one if that makes sense? |

To be fair, I'm absolutely shite at remembering to reply to messages on here, whether I want to talk to someone or not. I tend to take it to kik pretty fast for that reason.  |

I think it varies from person to person to be honest OP - some people I chat to on here, we'll exchange several short messages back and forth in a short period of time, so like chatting - others it may be more spread out but will generally be longer messages.
There's no hard and fast rule, or timescale to respond, it just is what it is |

I think the OP was probably referring to single women. With couples it is understandable. I prefer if they both message together anyway. It's normally just the man.

It's not just you op but a reflection of many things. Mailbox load is one aspect and also that many aren't looking for fast meets but want to take their time. It's no strings sex and swinging, where people here other relationships and priorities, including families and careers. Some will resist pressure to act, as if there's a sale on, that's time limited.
Manage your expectations and spread your net, so there's less dependence on each contact |
