It is etched on the long lost eleventh tablet as brought down from Mount Sinai by the venerable Moses.....or so it is said..... |

"I 'lurk' over some profiles... does that male me a stalker?

Loving that word
My answer would be mostly a lurker but comment when something catches my interest |

Lurkers are people who read threads but never start one or comment ( not a hanging offence yet, maybe after Brexit)
Stalkers are people who turn up on any thread and feel the need to post directly after you every..single..time..
Can be amusing or irritating dependant in my PMT levels. |

I think this is lore narcissism than reality.
Theres only ever a handful of active threads that arent kiss pas fuck etc so if 2 fairly active (read: bored) posters on at the same time odds are your gonna be replying to each other constantly.
I've been accused of following people round when i have pics turned off and didnt even realise i was talking to the same people.
Udualy the "omg your following me crowd" are just a bit self centred and seem to think the other posters life is revolving around them, rather than it just being a slow forum |

I think the endless barbed comments whenever there's a clash of interest and an obvious backstory make it clear when something is no coincidence. |

You can tell those who have a gripe ‘cos they always post pretty quickly a swiping message.
Otherwise do people really monitor who’s following them around on threads, oh to be hitting the dizzy heights of popularity...
