I’ve been on the forums nearly 2 weeks now, rarely post, more of a lurker, but I’ve noticed a trend that banal threads tend to fill up, but interesting thought provoking threads like this one barely reach double figures, although this one might buck the trend.
Or maybe I’m being cynical and jaded, just wondered what you thoughts are on this fascinating topic I’ve just started ?! |

I guess it's partially due to the setting of the forum. People don't come here for thought provoking stimulation. Instead it is other stimulation.
Personally I see it as interacting with other people who have things in common with me, on any subject that I may take an interest in. |

There was an interesting thread this morning, posted on it, came down for a cuppa and wooosh...disappeared. I think that's what happens, the interesting threads get sent into some black hole, and replaced by a snog, kiss, marry...or real thought provoking - who has the biggest norks!!! |

The forums always been hit n miss. Threads are often repeated as new people join thinking their thoughts will be an 'original thread'. A cursory glance or search would reveal its been done to death. However, other new people will continue to reply so its all going round in circles.

I know it must be hard being a grizzled, bitter, twisted, seasoned veteran of multiple Forum Campaigns.
Try to understand that this is all new to some people. Some users probably weren't even born when you lot joined Fab.
If we all searched for threads before typing, I'm sure this one would have popped up multiple times as well.
This entire thread just screams of "Cliquey Clique Clique" To me. Not something that I'm bothered by, cliques are everywhere and really a bad thing. You all seem to dislike, or disown the idea that it exists though, makes me wonder why you're helping to paint the picture.
Do I care if I'm repeating themes, or whether my posts are anal and boring, immature or odd? Not really. Is as much my forum as it is yours, or the Lurker watching.
If the Forum is so bad, think of something more intelligent, or interesting to say. |

I think the point that's being made is the lack of replies. You can have well thought out and thought provoking threads but if everyone is only replying to kiss fuck fondle threads they drop without a trace within the hour so people don't bother. It's part of the reason I've stopped posting so much, that and the bullying comments |

I have only recently found the forums and yes it can be clicky but I'm not bothered. I'm not interested in people who aren't interested themselves.
I'm a lurker tho like to chip in with my 2 cents worth here and there.
I do dislike the bitch fests that
can occurs albeit fun to watch and judgemental people.
I like to read peoples intellectual thoughts (can't often chip in)and also the kiss fuck threads.
I enjoy peoples 'performances' on the forums. Long live a broad divide. |

To be honest, like you, I'd much rather more interesting, thought provoking, silly, ridiculous and interactive posts. I've only got a limited imagination though. If I spot one, I try to comment on it. I try to support users I like and agree with, or ones who make effort to respond to those who do reply.
A few of mine go by the wayside, maybe I got it wrong, maybe I typed it out wrong, maybe it didn't pan out as I'd hoped. Maybe I'm all out wrong in that instance? Doesn't stop me from trying to get what's in my brain out into digi-world though.
Ok so one night a post may get zero reaction, the following morning another similair post will blow up. Shouldn't stop you from posting out your grey matter, the questions you'd like answers to, the games you want to play or the flirts you want to give and receive. |

I’ve noticed that a few regular forumites have dropped off too. There have been a few threads worthy of a post but not many. Sometimes I read through the thread list and think ‘WTF!’ at some of them..... and likewise some of them have been tantamount to an ‘online cat fight’ so I avoid those like the plague. I’m not a fan of bullying either .... |

The threads only get shut down when it's a topic that is so controversial that Fabswingers.com wants nothing to do with it. Or tension in the thread just went ballistic.
In all fairness I think the Mods do a cracking job of policing all the wierd fucked up shit said in here.
I've not seen any bullying if I'm honest. Not been on long enough to spot it though I guess. I don't like the sound of that. |

People come and go, the discussions take a different turn depending on who contributes. People choose to think it’s not as good when in reality it’s probably their attitude towards it that has changed. |

2 weeks isn't a long time. You need to be on the forums for a year before you get the full benefits. Stick around, maybe try posting other threads. Always do a search to make sure the topic hasn't been covered in the last 9 years. And always agree with the women. |
