Doubtless, the ‘loudest’ and most aggressive ‘voices’ invariably belong to those folk who don’t feel sufficiently empowered in the ‘real world’ to air their views with such wanton abandon and bravery.

Nothing wrong with a good debate. It's when people get personal or scornful it all gets a bit childish.

I'm never looking for a squabble, I just can't help myself most of the time. If I see a post where there are grey areas when someone is being absolute. Or someone is dishing out bad advice, or being rude, overly personal, preaching hatred or justifying preferences based on shaky ground. Then yes, I may be tempted to join the fray, given my colourful language, I do my best to avoid them, because I like being here.
I will argue with myself occasionally, usually when I'm conflicted or encouraged to think by a wiser person than me.
Love sitting on the fence and playing Devils advocate for fun.
So I guess I'm guilty as charged.
I wouldn't call it Kindergarten behaviour though, I'd call it expressing my opinions and broadening my tiny mind. |
