Most of my friends on here I have met through the forums, mostly they are very similar in real life as to the way they come across in the forums, have you found this to be the same ?  |

Only meet really through socials and house parties so yes have met a lot of forumites socially 
Only ever met three people by mail off the sites in all the yeras lol
And one a them as ya know is still here lol xx |

yes...but i havnt met many forumites
One of the nicest things ppl say to me at socials is you are just like i imagined...it's not true, in real life i'm worse |

People I have chatted to in-depth then met have been I guess 70 to 80% accurate on average but on forums both here and other sites when met at socials or munches there is a much bigger difference. There seems to be some competition crap on forums ans a fair few exaggerate. It all makes for good fun though.  |

the people i have a laugh and banter with on the forums i would say are for the most how i expected. my close friends are different there is far more depth to them than could ever come across on here |

I'm totally different.
I got called a wallflower the other week by another forumite
Although, it has to be said, she was waving a bottle of champers at the time so I'm not sure it wasn't the alkihol talking  |

I think if you met me 1 on 1, you would get to see the 'real me'
Meet me in a large group and I will probably come across as more reserved than I actually am.
I am more at ease in 1 on 1 or small groups of say 3/4/5 rather than a crowd. |

Don't know what people think who've met me.
Well there are one or two exceptions.
Some forum members are what it says on the tin, some are completely different.
But I can say that no one has dissapointed me or shown themselves for who they really are |
