"Mine is Posh Scouse.
Is there such a thing? "
There is! It's called posh scouse but really it is just well spoken with a scouse accent attached.
Think of it like a full time telephone voice but in scouse. |

No!
I am doubtful there is such a thing "
Its true! You put a standard scouse qccent next to a "posh scouse" accent and you will see how true it is. |

Due to my location most people think i have a Welsh accent...
But as i was born in Cheshire and spent yrs moving around the country, i don't really have any specific accent, but i do have a slight mancunian twang |

I love the assumptions people make about accents. I lived in Bristol when I was on here before so most people got a shock when we spoke on the phone and I'm Scottish. |

Did you live in Liverpool to gain their accent? No, my ma is from Liverpool and my Da is from Birkenhead. "
And you have lived all your life in Chester? |

One of my oldest regular partners, who is very posh speaking, was surprised when he first rang me that I don't talk like Stacey Solomon. |

"I don’t really have one. I’ve lived in quite a few places. I tend to unknowingly slip into certain accents depending on who I’m talking to. "
Yrs ago i worked with a girl who had quite a posh accent until she made her weekly phone call home, when she slipped into broad Glaswegian |
