"The Gentle Touch" was just about the first female orientated cop series ever i think and ground breaking at the time.
For me though, THE most ground breaking and enjoyable cop series by far was Hill Street Blues. The stories were brilliant, the acting was fantastic and the music was good as well. One of the most iconic lines ever and was used in every episode "Hey, let's be careful out there" |

" Hill Street blues was way ahead of its time and another trailblazer was policewoman with Angie Dickenson. I love a woman in uniform |

See above^^^^^^^^ up there somewhere"
Missed that...
Aye over weight. Chasing crims.. Would stop for breather having lost them... They'd think he'd given up so would back track back sauntering along
Go round corner he'd bump into them and nab them |

"Juliet Bravo and the bill. "
Funny story about the bill... I was living in Elephant and Castle and was walking up towards Old Kent Road with a mate and saw hundreds of coppers down this street. We saw them carrying a white coffin, obviously a police funeral. Was a sight mind... Then we saw the cameras filming! |
