So.... After a particularly embarrassing incident at my friends house this afternoon I am looking for some effective tried and tested pelvic floor exercises!

In the meantime I'm off to buy some tenna lady

Oh no

My exercises are contracting and relaxing my pelvic floor. I’m usually squatting when I’m doing it.

I do pelvic floor exercises regularly. I've also heard that weight lifting can help.

No.... My friends sofa after choking on some tea... Luckily she's my best friend and doesn't judge me. Wouldn't mind but I've not even had kids I can blame if on!

I thought I was king of the kids on a trampoline recently ... didn’t go well.. cats were following me all the way home

I used to do it at school when I was bored and didn't want to be caught fidgeting

Northampton Somewhere

Squeeze in, hold for 5/10, repeat 10 times

Squeeze and release x 20

Work up to doing more until you can drink a McDonald's milkshake through a straw using your pelvic floor muscles.

(That last bit isnt compulsory)

Somewhere In The Ether…

Kegals are the go to method and in addition, many of the related ‘resistance stretches’ (Cooley’s Technique) may serve to help

Squeeze and hold, do it whilst your standing in a queue, at the photocopier, after 6 kids mines still rather strong because I kept them up regularly. Helping lots now as just had hysterectomy yesterday so all the more need for a string pelvic floor.. Y xx

I hear yoni eggs are good for strengthening yourself. Come in an assortment of sizes too so you can find one to suit I'm sure!

My friend runs a sex toy website and one of his vibrators is also supposed to help with pelvic floor... not quite sure if it works yet but having a lot of fun trying xx

I do them while I'm cooking.

Yoga and pilates are great for pelvic floor strength, they both tend to build the exercises into the whole routine.

Some people do them at the traffic lights, every time they check the time, during the ad breaks etc.

If that was the first time it happened it might be worth checking that you haven't got an infection

Haha sooooooo cold!

Try squeezing in stages too, three stages tightening further each time, then loosening in stages.
