when some one mentions you by name in their forum post, that feeling of being noticed...... i can remember 4 times in all the years ive been here, so do you like it when a fellow forum user mentions you in a good light? |

Yes and no. I’ve had forum posts made purely to compliment me, and it’s ended up with people on the forums calling me an attention seeker, me receiving abuse etc (even though I didn’t consent to the posts being made).
But I do see why it would be flattering. I don’t mind if I’m mentioned in a positive light in response to a post, just not a whole one dedicated to me I suppose
(Although I totally want a happy birthday one next month) |
