It was meant to happen April 2018 and didn't because they could not decide on a way to implement it.
It may very well keep getting pushed back over and over. We shall see. |

The law applies to commercial pornography and not social media. So it's likely that FAB will not fall into this category. However, no real thought has gone into this law, it's implementation, or it's ramifications, so I don't see it being enforced by April (if ever). |

In the U.S., the Congress has passed a law making adult sites liable for 3rd. party ads about illegal activities such as prostitution and sex trafficking.
Some sites such as C/L have removed personal ads. Others require that you identify yourself to use all of the features of the site.
