Ok not just guns...
If you occasionaly peek at the new photos section, you'll often see a guy posing with a large weapon (yes the lethal barrelled type)or sat in a super car, in an aircraft or a lady sat on a motorbike etc.
Hands up if the background or prop actually had any impact whatsoever on you fabbing the pic or more? I posed with a train set...maybe I need to up my game? |

Yeah I'd assume it's the over compensation for some short coming (pun intended!) |

"I am somewhat anti-materialism so any show of wealth is a bit cringeworthy to me. "
We all are when we don't have things
Seriously as outlined above, I have no issue of people posing for pics with cars, items etc but on FAB you're generally listing a pic to attract, so what's with the GPMG pose? So far no ones really likely to be impressed? |

What about manly power tools? It’s a well known fact that ladies become instantly aroused at the sight of a man wielding a chainsaw for instance.
....unless of course, he’s wearing a mask made from human skin and a bloodied apron.... |

If he has rigger boots and a bit of reflective gear on too I can forgive the rest |

The last time my other half wielded a power tool I lost the door to our bedroom and there’s a fucking great hole in my bathroom where a shower is supposed to be Nick Knowles would have a fucking field day in our house x |

I'm a bit of a petrol head too, so its more of a conversation piece to me.
I'm also a clay shooter, so if there is a common interest thats all good too. Did once, many moons ago, chat with someone that posted a pic of his mrs with a rifle (air rifle at that..i can tell the difference) when i asked about it i was branded a 'fucking psycho' .....
Go figure |

"Actual real guns? "
Yes they appear occasionally and saw one earlier hence my post.
Probably private security abroad and it looked Soviet era, and some times there's the occasional squaddie posing.
Anyway I don't wish to get off track...my question was about props and did they generate interest in the individual, or are they simply a waste of time.
Guns themselves is another discussion I guess. |

I have to be honest and it’s not quite the same thing you are talking about, I notice backgrounds. If it’s a really messy or dirty looking home for example, it’s a no from me

I've tried very hard to resist the temptation to post any pictures featuring my car, but I did succumb to adding obe because it is actually part of who I am - a complete car nut.
The truth is that I don't have the csr I do to impress anyone. I have it because I like it.
I can't help it if it just happens to be a cool car
I'll let others decide if I'm compensating for having a tiny dick or not |

"Probably over compensating for having a needle dick x
...and very little between the ears I would think.indeed " as a car enthusiast you would be surprised. I know quite a lot of people with cars that this sort of stereotype is applied to. They have the cars because they love the cars and have worked hard for them. My car photo is one of my most fabbed. |

"I have messaged someone due to a bike or car.. but in a petrol head so means I may have something other than sex to talk about with them "
I have started a decent conversation about a bike they have in the picture. |

Actual guns I report the pics.
'Props' (pics of them with cars, bikes, women) I just ignore. I'm not their type. |

From growing up on a farm to being in the army I've been around guns my whole life so have plenty of pics with them from over the years, but I know most people hate guns so I certainly wouldn't use them to try and impress anyone. |
