So I'm watching basic instinct at the moment and wondered if you guys had any classic films suggestions.

Not as "fruity" as Basic Instinct but most of the old Ealing comedy films are just right for a lazy Sunday. Gentle, easy-going and no evil plot twists or leg-crossing shockers

Lol same here. Withnail and I!! One of those films i left for years after first seeing it. Watched it a couple if months ago. Hilarious

Watched The Guard the other week. Very funny. Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle. Brilliant film.

There and to the left a bit

So many classics from all eras - from old black and white comedies (Norman Wisdom, the Ealing ones, I'm Alright Jack etc), the classic war films of which TV over Xmas has been full of them (Where Eagles Dare, Dirty Dozen, In Which We Serve and more), Carry On etc etc right through to modern classics like Shawshank, The Green Mile and yet more besides
