Do you message a winker?.
Jump to: Newest in thread
We look at a wink both ways as an invitation to check out our profile as we like there’s or that someone had checked ours out and liked what they see.
It saves a lot of back and forth we find. And always reply if we like what we see and take no offence if we don’t hear when we wink. |

We have given up on those that Wink..It seems whenever we wink back, that is the last we hear from them...If they are interested enough
1. They would read our profile
2. They would send a message
(provided it isnt a "Hey How you" they will get a reply |

I use winks as a way of saying hello if I don't really have time to send a more detailed message. If they wink back then I'll send a message and see where it goes.
If I receive a wink then I'll check out the profile and if it interests me I'll send a message. |

It’s a way of showing discreet interest - like someone smiling across a crowded room. I can understand that for some people they have so much full-on interest already that a discreet method is unlikely to succeed. But I’m not so awash with messages, so happy to check the winks for appealing fabbers from time to time. Sometimes it’s a very pleasant surprise! |

I usually look at their profile and if they look like someone with potential I'll send them a message and a wink back. It's nice to know before you message someone that they're open to being in contact with you. That said, I've been winked at before and then when I've responded gotten nothing back at all. |

I don't look at my winks. So No, I don't tend to reply. But it's a handy tool if I want to send out feelers, to see if someone may be interested in chatting, by sending one myself |

"I very rarely look at mine. No I don't message after a wink, I'm not saying I never would. "
It seems that very few women bother looking at winks (have been told by quite a few that they don't ever look at them).
It's a shame really, as the 'wink' system is a good idea. |

Guilty as charged, i never look to see who has winked.
I try to answer as many of my messages as I can and I like to chat with friends on here. That takes up most of my time.
Actually thinking about it now i can see why men would wink rather than message. I used to assume it was just lazy, but I can see other reasons now |

"I do. It shows they've taken the interest but couldn't be arsed to message. Chatting to a couple of nice ladies through winks "
I'm not sure it's down to not being arsed. When I've winked, I'm just putting feelers out. If they wink back, then I'll message |

Nope. I usually have a look at who's winked. If they're really our cup of tea then they get a wink back. They can message from there. We can meet so rarely that I don't see the point in chasing people. I think if someone is interested enough then they'll send a thought out message.

Winks are such a rare and unusual event, I always have a look, to see who's sent it.
Apparently, anyone whos blocked from messaging, is also blocked from winking, so naturally, it should always be from the correct gender.
More often than not, they'll be somewhere stupidly far away (from end or wrong side of the country), so even if I was interested, it would be pointless pursuing.
I'll normally just thank them for their interest, then leave it at that. |

"Yeah. Someone once explained that a wink is a way of gauging interest without the kick of a deleted message.
Every so often I’ll peruse my winks and message the winker if I’m intriuged enough. "
Same here I class it as a friendly hello without having to read a message not that I get many of either but I will always send a message back to either |

It’s rare that we’d wink back let alone message but if their profile is a match and we like the look of them, usually we’d wink back and might, exceptionally, message. |

I just wink back. If they are interested they will message.
I certainly do not wasting my time writing an elaborate 'you want my dick, don't you?' to get ignored |
