I used to be a goth many years ago which was probably my awakening to cross dressing in some ways.Maybe I'll try a few outfits and appropriate make-up, I've got a black wig to start the ball rolling |

"Goths have feelings too you know...
Have you ever listened to cradle of filth?
It changed my life.
From goth to boss."
Cradle of Filth are our favourite band .
We saw them at Cambridge junction 2 just before we got married six and half years ago .
After a thread from years ago my wife got a COF t shirt with Cemetry slut emblazoned on it |

I seen cradle of filth without their makeup on when they where kids. Seen them again with Emperor whom they supported and that's when the makeup started with them ....talking early 90s |

I have one pair of new rocks , loads of COF tops but that’s about it . My wife has a room full of corsets , new rocks and goth style clothing .
I didn’t mind a bit of cannibal corpse back in the day , but I love the melodic and operatic stuff interspersed with the heavy stuff that COF do . I think Midian was an absolute cracking album . |

Always been a Rock Chick, love Motorcycles and Heavy Metal, so to dress as a Goth seems like fun.
I’ve always loved groups of people who embrace their own culture from Japanese Lolita Fashions, Medieval renaissance to Steampunk.
Always been a fan of alt groups not sure why |

"Are goths even still around? I'd have imagined culture getting so diluted that goths don't even really exist anymore.
I think the thread is more about the look than the lifestyle of goths ."
Even then! I havent seen a goth looking person for years, fashion-wise.
I guess alternative is close? Although alternative just means having tattoos I think so god knows who is filling the goth hole (oo'er). |

Met quite a few over the years, lovely people I’ve been to loads of Gay venues and had a few minor issues with some of the regular gay guys (just bitchy talk mainly) but never any problem at a Goth event, just very open and very friendly people. Plus I do like a corset |
