So even though I'm more of a Rock'n'Blues man, I sometimes enjoy a bit of harmony

Ma Dad used to have a lot of classical stuff

Somewhere In The Ether…

So many to choose from but Mozart’s Requiem, Bruckner’s Te Deum and Saint-Saens Organ Symphony probably top my personal list.

Tchaikovsky’s 1812 overture come on it has cannons as an instrument that’s pretty awesome

Little fact he never heard it played as he wrote it, they could never do all the cannons right before he died

Nr Dumfries

Although a rock chick at heart I'm a great fan of all music. The Anvil Chorus is a favourite as is Peter And The Wolf or Carmina Burana. I also love Gilbert & Sullivan operettas & Carmen.

by the big field

Remember that bit in Shawshank Redemption when he locks himself in the office and plays out 'a couple of Italian ladies singing' across the prison yard?

Tis Mozart- Duettino Sull'aria. from The Marriage of Figaro

Theres something rather epic about orchestral music at times. I saw Pete Tong and the Heritage Orchestra again last week- classic house and techno played on violins, cellos, trumpets etc, mega laser show and 10000 ravers bouncing along having a wild old time on a school night
