"Do you believe in luck?
After a pretty horrific year things are all going my way at the moment, am I right to be worried my luck will turn again? "
The pessimist in me always worries when things seem to be going well too. So you aren't alone in that kinda thinking. But I do know it's daft of me to be like it. Join me in a self head wobble to get that nonsense out of our noggins! |

No I don’t believe in luck, or karma and all that stuff. Things are what they are. Although I’ve had one of the worst years ever and am constantly thinking wtf next! I reckon I must have killed a bus full of nuns in a previous life! |

I hope things continue to go well for you x
Luck is best broken down into the two ‘P’s; Possibility & Probability.
Whilst any given circumstance and/or out come may be a possibility, it is certainly not necessarily a probability.
Sometimes we may appear to have a concatenation (or ‘cluster’ as the ‘science’ of luck would have it) of negative or conversely positive events/circumstances but it all balances out in the end.
And I’m rambling.....
In summary - fret not m’lady - luck is really only a mathematical concept |

"Fate yes, luck no x"
Luck yes, fate no!
Things will always happen that affect us positively or negatively that are outside of our control. It’s chance or luck by another name.
I don’t think there are things that are destined to happen to us, or fated to happen to us. |

I did actually just go check. Something about stress at work.
I'm off today |

I hear ya sister. What a year.
As for luck, I think its more that positivity makes you see the good things as they happen. It’s common to say it’s luck. In reality we do make our own choices etc.
Sometimes no matter how hard we try bad times happen. It’s a case of not letting them drown you in negativity.
So look up and the world looks up with you (mostly to see what you’re looking at).
