Kate Beckinsale reportedly appreciates skin treatments derived from foreskins. Would you have limits upon what you'd allow on or in your body? Even if it potentially helped to get you a large role or turn back the clock?

Those foreskins can only come from male children who have had genital mutilation surgery and they cannot legally give any consent at that age.
I suppose it's different for girls. Eh?
You know... genital mutilation. Imagine if a guy liked to spread the derivatives of female child genital mutilation on his face to sooth his razorburn. What outcry might there be?
Does anyone think there might be an outcry? Possibly? |

Pain? Yes loadfs of evidence.
Evidence of severe damage to genitals? Yes stacks of evidence.
Evidence of Death caused by male child genital mutilation? Yes. A small but significant (certainly significant if it is you or your child) die each year from the shock, blood loss and trauma of male child genital mutilation.

Only if it's very expensive and hotly in demand from the Hollywood elite. There's a couple of years wait for foreskin cream atm.  |

Circumcision rates have declined a lot in American males - I've enjoyed seeing a lot younger guys there who are uncut, whereas this is much less frequent in older guys. |

No it's not okay. Not ok at all. Especially if the foreskins are coming from a poor country, issues of consent are murky enough without throwing possible financial gain into the mix.
Although I also read that doctors have used stem cells taken from baby's foreskins for years to use in skin grafts for burns victims. Due to the regenerative qualities. So I guess it depends where you want to draw that ethical line |

The ethical line is that if a person is too young to consent to a pointless genital mutilation then it is unethical.
ALL children are too young to give consent.
And RELIGION is NOT an acceptable justification to mutilate children's genitals.
The fact that Pharmaceutical Multinationals/ Private Medical Establishment/ Private Companies might use the tissue (usually without anyone's knowledge) to make vast profits only adds to the evil.
The NHS does not use chopped foreskins of circumcised boys or the razored off and removed clitorises of young girls in any skin graft procedures I can assure you.
Skin grafts don't work that way I'm afraid.
Tissue farming in America is a different issue. I foresee massive court cases - and very soon. |
