"I thought God save the Queen was the national anthem.
For the whole of the UK .
Actually, its Land of Hope and Glory, I think."

God Save The Queen, is the national anthem, for Great Britain (& colonies left)
Jerusalem was voted to be England's anthem in 2010, and is played for our athletes at the Commonwealth Games |

Not only that 40 is the new 20. Yikes invisible man is the perfect man. I best get a wiggle on and make lunch otherwise people will start to think this is the start of a bromance.
Lucky for us mortals you're on a break. Gives us a chance to survive on here. Phew! |

the right frame of mind -London |
None of them -all national anthems are cockwank drivel. Something to get all erect and misty eyed about whenever the national zeitgeist strikes -not 1 on them is even remotely danceable. |

Amen sir - no anthem exceeds even 30 BPM; I want at least 130 for even the most mellow of Trance |

Haha seems pretty simple, but I prefer to keep my ultra HD chin and tea is for dunking biscuits only. That is non negotiable |

If we’re talking rugby anthems the the Irish one is pretty good. As is the Welsh and Scottish.
England should have its own anthem an not just God save the Queen, which is dreary. |

I’m a patriotic guy but I do find God Save The Queen is a bit of a dirge and not very inspiring. I personally like to hear Star Spangled Banner and really admire how it seems to bring everyone together. Our anthem doesn’t do that.
The Welsh anthem when played before home Rugby matches always comes across well on TV and I do love to hear Jerusalem before England Cricket matches. That sends shivers down my spine. |
