We have a neolithic burial site locally known as King Arthur’s stone..
All of these amaze me how people 1000’s of yrs ago lifted these stones to create such monastic places.
Have you got anything like this by you? |

I live near Frinton-on-Sea in Essex, theres plenty of old relics there. A bit further along the coast is Clacton-on-Sea which is home to many neanderthals. |

There are quite a few on the South Downs. There's an iron age fort nearLewes, a bronze age settlement just outside Eastbourne and various ancient landscapes around. Our ancestors were very resourceful and had a lot more time on their hands than we do. |

Just now I'm on holiday in southern Spain near to where 4000 year old remains of a young man and a small boy.
Apparently, the mummified remains were so well preserved that paleantologists were able to make an artistic representation of the in life appearance of the mummies and extract enough DNA to be able too trace their ancestry and even cause of death. The remains are now on display in the local museum in a case designed by NASA to prevent deterioration from oxidation |
