she talking about getting her nails done for xmas.

can't make up her mind whether to have xmas trees or father xmas.

I said depends if you are talking finger or toe nails.

because you wouldn't want father xmas looking up your dress or would you?

If that's too crude, I probably shouldn't have called my boss a cunt.

Somewhere In The Ether…

It would have been cruder if she decided on her fingernails and you made a comment pertaining to Santa slipping into her vagina....

Depends on the female work colleague I suppose. I wouldn't think so.

Depends whether she likes banter or not, me and my rather gorgeous assistant at work are on the same humour level so it's no holds barred dirty jokes and comments all day and I know she won't take offence, but I wouldn't say any of it in front of other women there or it would be tribunals at dawn! You have to really get to know someone before you know if you can get away with it

Given that you assumed she would wear a dress just because she is a biological woman, it's probably a misogynistic hate crime.

At least you didn’t carry on the sentence with ‘and emptying his sack on your rug’!

Choose your audience wisely. I and most of my women friends and colleagues wouldn't find it crude but I know of one woman who would.

Some of the things my boss says to me, well I could do him for harassment ~ if I didn't like it so much

What you said, in comparison, is pretty tame!!

I thought it was funny, and I’m sure the lady you work with did otherwise hopefully you wouldn’t of said it..

Also for me, it would depend who says it. A member of staff at our work (doesn’t work with us but in the building) is overly friendly, has called me a stripper, offers me free lifts in exchange for ‘something’ and winks at me. I’ve already had to tell him ‘don’t touch me’ because I’ve been sat down and he’s rubbed my shoulders. If he said it, I’d be raging

I think you will get away with it... why I here you ask, because jimmy car decided not to use that joke in his next show because he was concerned that not many people would find it funny
