What’s your favourite thing to play on at the park?

I like the swings and slide. I hate being dizzy so I hate the roundabout.

We were always told the ball shape in the middle of the roundabout was the Queens nipple

Also I find it weird that some parks randomly have sand. Why? It doesn’t hurt less when you fall in it. If anything, sand is annoying

Somewhere In The Ether…

Swings for me also; I could get some major height on them

I never liked those ‘horse on a spring’ wobbly things you sit on though; I invariably fell straight off the back of them and onto my arse

Always the zip line, or trying to get high enough on the swing that it goes right over

"The little horse on a giant spring."

When I was 6 me and my family moved into a brand new estate - there was a tiny little park and somehow, a child had managed to break the horse it was promptly fixed though

I LOVE THE ZIP LINE

There’s one in my local park, always go on it when I walk the dogs

Tyre swing, one with the chain in the muddle so you can swing round really wide.

Somewhere In The Ether…

What’s those things that look vaguely like a rotary washing line, wherein you (and a few others) hold tight to a parallel bar whilst the whole contraption spins around?

I remember flying off and puking from one of them.

Ah....happy memories

It was so fun! You had to try roll out from under it while they were still swinging, and you weren’t allowed to close your eyes

As a kid, the American swings and Witches Hat.

Now, the bench; I read, the kids play.

York

The village I grew up in had a stately home with a deep well and medieval donkey wheel (like a giant hamster wheel) next to it, as kids we used to sneak in and run inside the donkey wheel till it got a good speed up, then grab the beams and go right round in it over and over till it stopped. You won't get one of those in a park but it was good fun if massively dangerous
