I’m finding some threads need some new impetus
So I’m trying to find new ideas
Anyway, I think we need some new ideas to get forums moving I mean come in it’s getting a bit predictable
The word game we started a few weeks ago
The I spy thread??
7 letter word game
Association word game
Strictly thread....

People take comfort from the familiar and routine.
I can never think of any original topics and only ever start threads asking really mundane questions.
I did start one year's ago asking why so many men called their wife "the wife" as if she was an object or possession but it didn't go down too well.

I like word games and I love Strictly, so that is for fellow strictly fans to discuss the dancers. I tend to not comment on threads that I have no interest in and join in the ones I like |

There are quite a few ways for men to refer to their partner without actually mentioning her name. All I can think that women use is my husband/partner or the other half. Mind you a man I know refers to "the child" when talking about his daughter  |

I’m with ya OP, I tried to resurrect an old thread of mine last night to get women to send me gratuitous nudes. And you know what? Nil nudes in my inbox overnight.
What are the forums coming to!? I despair I really do. |

I agree  I have an idea for a thread,you have to choose one of these 3 words and keep repeating them over and over in loads of different threads every day......snog,fuck, avoid.....ok |

You probably need the thread starters of a few years ago to come back there was a lot more variety years ago on the forums. |

Tonight i'm going to start a thread where we put someone 'on' and the rest of us hide.
Sort of hide n seek ....... but with a twist.
Yeah ..... if the guesser guesses where you are you HAVE to do a sexual forfeit.

No I think it should be a sentence like, I couldnt agree more. Or That's what I was thinking. Then the game would be you have to message the person who used the sentence in a thread. The message could say 'gotcha' because you noticed. Know what I mean? Have a new sentence to say each day. |

Starts off with the old faithful "I'm in"
Once there's 5 people in the thread the first poster chooses a photo from any of the people in the thread and recreates it.
First person to guess the correct profile and photo (by date) then has to find a photo to mimic from someone else in the thread.

Ahh right. Yeah would help. I had a thought earlier. Maybe fab could put a setting on the forums where you can choose the age range or sex of the people you're targetting. For example. If I wanted to post a thread for women only you can select to just have women see it and respond. Same for age. I dunno just a thought. |

Why not open more, fake cafes and bars because that makes so much sense at least those listed are games, virtually ordering food and drink was a game for 4 year old with their teasets |

people wanted fluff.... they got fluff!!!
people became masters of there own fate....on there own heads be it...
fluff drove some of the more thoughtful posters away..... it has become an "in club" |

Yes that's kind of the reason I like the idea, other threads fill up too quickly and fab a pic threads etc tend to go stale as you're fabbing the same photos repeatedly throughout the week. A slower thread where people can return to whether they've been busy or not and follow it quite simply seems good to me. Also forces even newer posters to be acknowledged if it's their turn to imitate. Not to mention it gets a fresh load of photos to break the monotony, that's just my view anyway. |

That would be the difficult part, the initial establishing of it. I do think it could become quite entertaining once it became something want to check up on but I do agree it would be tough to begin with |
