Men do you honestly speak your mind on here. do You manage your replies to suit the thread or restrain from saying what you really want. Just in case it reduces your chance of a meet. |

Given that most responses are usually to people that are miles away from me and aren’t realistically an option for meeting... I tend to speak my mind but temper my responses (when necessary) in the knowledge that there are ladies present.  |

There seems to be a school of thought that if a single man doesnt think all women or couples on Fab are self intitled asses that he is pandering to them or just trying to please the crowd.

I always reply honestly, or sometimes a little sillily. I learnt quite a while ago on here to be as honest as possible with preferences, that way you’ll get a better connection with the people you do get to meet. |

I'm on here for fun...I've made a few remarks over the years in support of some people... maybe invoking the wrath of others...if I wish to support a fabber who is getting a rough time on here I will sometimes pm them ..but ignore the taunts or comments designed to create controversy... I've seen so many threads get highjacked by the axe grinders...let's just chat in an atmosphere of fun and respect for each other |

There is no doubt that there are some guys who reply only in a certain way because the person they are replying to has a pair of tits and a pussy.
There was a character in a Fast Show sketch who's name I can't remember but his routine was to agree with one of his mates opinions and then agree with another mates completely opposite opinion. That happens once in a while on here and is very entertaining! |

I like to think I do but obviously I try not to be offensive while doing so. Not because it will reduce my chances on here as dont really use the site for meetings as such. But because you can probably make a point without being offensive most of the time. |

I'll say what I think, but no doubt there's the odd occasion I'll refrain from posting my thoughts to a thread.
It can be easy to be misconstrued writing in here, and sometimes I'd ratger keep quiet, than to elaborate on the context of my words in great detail. |

A bit like contestants on Roy Walkers Catchphrase, I'll always say what I see, regardless of the audience - I'll usually try and provide a reasoned approach too, if people don't like it then so be it - I'll certainly never compromise my views just to curry favour.
Interestingly though, there's been many a time that I have been accused of white knighting for holding a view, even though I genuinely never have deliberately expressed a view I don't firmly believe in. |

Depends on my mood. Sometimes, yes. Sometimes I can’t be arsed, this is a bit of escapism for me, I’m mainly here for fun not drama (although every now and then I might stick my oar in!  ) so if I want conflict then there are plenty of better places to find it on t’internet than a casual sex site forum! |

I'd be surprised if most people don't censor themselves in some way, if only to follow the maxim "if you've nothing positive to say...". Why ask men? Do women talk freely without any thought for this? I doubt it. I think some on here are more comfortable talking out of turn on certain issues. Most don't as, quite rightly, they recognise that it ends up muddying the waters a bit |

I think this is true. I've spoken to many men who have actually said they do for many differant reasons. Most men will not name women in threads due to upsetting others the thread subjects differ. Where as women tend to. |

It's not conducive to being able to post long term
If I posted one tenth of the thoughts that went through my head, I'd be keeping the naughty step warm on a constant basis
It's easier to shake your head and move on to the next thread

Bucking the trend; I don't always speak my mind no, sometimes I'll self edit if I think my comment isn't constructive or if Im typing angry.
I try and be reasoned and balanced in my approach to things, not because I'm trying to score points with anyone though, simply because I think there is a right way and a wrong way to conduct yourself.

I do think that an awful lot of people don't speak their minds, certainly not when a lady is posting. Simply look at the way that a guy is dealt with or gets reacted to in comparison with a lady.
There is an awful lot of virtue signalling that goes on and fawning, of course its to be expected on a site where people are looking to impress prospective sexual partners.
The only way to find out really is consistency over time and over a range of topics, that's partially why the forums can be so good.
It's easy to say 'not me, I always reply honestly' but it eventually shows who does or doesn't... |
